The Gallogly Events Center is home to our NCAA Division two Basketball and Volleyball teams.
These teams play and practice here, so you’ll never have to fight them for recreation space at the rec center. Our two biggest events of the year are Blackout and Whiteout night. During these games, students get a free t-shirt and free food. All sporting events are free for UCCS students to attend.
Gallogly is often the location of many guest speakers on campus. We have hosted astronaut Scott Kelly, Tarana Burke, Ben Cohen from Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and many other key-note presenters. These events are typically only $2 for students to attend.
