In January 2025, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives launched a UCCS Federal Transition Team, along with a corresponding informational webpage: Federal Updates. The Federal Updates page includes all UCCS communications about the federal transition, as well as a list of resources for faculty and staff. 

The UCCS Federal Transition Team works in conjunction with the CU System guidance and UCCS Leadership on the federal transition to ensure timely communication and resources for the UCCS community. There will be updates each week in Friday’s Communique newsletter.

• This week, Chancellor Sobanet sent a message of support about our international students. That message can be found here.
• As of Friday, April 25, the process of visa revocations is being reversed for some students. We will continue to monitor how this impacts our students at UCCS.
