In January 2025, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives launched a UCCS Federal Transition Team, along with a corresponding informational webpage: Federal Updates. The Federal Updates page includes all UCCS communications about the federal transition, as well as a list of resources for faculty and staff. 

The UCCS Federal Transition Team works in conjunction with the CU System guidance and UCCS Leadership on the federal transition to ensure timely communication and resources for the UCCS community. There will be updates each week in Friday’s Communique newsletter.

• This week, Chancellor Sobanet sent a message confirming that all the UCCS international students who were impacted by the visa revocations have had their visa status restored. That message can be found here.
